Dr. Mortera is a competent doctor, but I don't like the way she gave my child her immunizations. I had prepared my daughter for the shots that were to come on that appointed day, but the way Dr. Mortera and her nurse handled it was to give my daughter a pinwheel to blow on (to distract her), and they said in happy, excited voices, "Blow! Blow! Harder!.." and when she happily blew harder and harder they each jabbed her with a needle, twice in each arm, and my little daughter looked so shocked and betrayed, and she of course cried, and I literally felt ill. That incident stuck with me for a long time, and I decided to leave Dr. Mortera.
