When this doctor was doing his residency at FMI in Augusta, he diagnosed a very rare disease that I had suffered with for years. I was then able to get a referral to a rheumatologist and have my disease treated. Every doctor I had gone to before seeing Dr. R said that all my labs were perfect and that my symptoms were psychosomatic. Dr. R was the first doctor to listen to me and do research to find out what the problem was.
